Distillerie d'Indochine is a Vietnamese distillery that produces rum using locally-sourced cane, distilled on a French copper column still in the style used to produce Armagnac. it has eleven extraction plates and 2 concentration plates. Once distilled, its spirit is rested for three weeks before being drip-reduced for up to 8 months before bottling.
The project was the brainchild of Antoine Poircuitte and it opened in 2018. Its first rum was ready to launch the following year and is marketed under the Sampan brand name.
