Versailles REV 1994 Cadenhead's 11 Year Old
A pot demerara rum distilled on the Versailles single wooden pot still at Enmore.
The whilst there is disagreement over exactly when Enmore distillery closed (with estimates ranging from 1993-1995) one of the more accepted accounts places its closure in April 1994, with its wooden coffey still and the Versailles still moved first to Uitvlugt and then to Diamond in 2000, where its styles are still produced today.
Based on that timeline this would be some of the last distillate produced prior to the relocation of the still sets.
Bottled by Wm. Cadenhead's in 2003 at 11 years old.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
