Guyana Rum 2008 Plantation Single Cask / Maison Demiautte et al
The Plantation Rum brand is owned by Maison Ferrand in Coganc, France, and they often use their barrels to finished these rums. This has spent 9.5 years in a bourbon cask in the tropics, and a further 1 ageing in France, 6 months of which were in a Zebra cask (made of chestnut and accacia wood).
This is a single cask rum that was distilled at Diamond in 2008, either on their Port Mourant double pot still, the Verailles single pot still, or a combination of both.
Bottled in 2019 from cask #1, which was selected by The Rum Cartel alongside Maison Demiautte, Maison Baelen, Le Gout du Bonheur and Cavavin Belval.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
