Trinidad Distillers 1997 Plantation Single Cask
A 1997 vintage rum from Trinidad Distillers, the House of Angostura. distilled in a four-column still from molasses.
Plantation Rum is owned by Cognac Ferrand in France, although have recently become the proprietors of the West Indies Rum Refinery in Barbados.
This single cask rum was tropically matured 15 and a half years in bourbon casks, continentally aged 6 years in Ferrand cognac cask and finished for 4 months in an ex-Kilchoman single malt cask.
Bottle number 161 drawn from cask #10 in 2019.
